Hagar

Description

Hagar was Abraham’s servant and the mother of his son, Ismael. She awakened Sara’s (Abraham’s wife) envy and rage. When Sara was pregnant she banished Hagar and Ismael from their home to the desert. God heard Ismael’s cries whilst they were wandering in the desert and sent an angel to save them. The angel blessed Hagar with many generations.
